Report: Drunk Man Boards Boat, Revs Engine, Hits Dock, Other Boat
A Groton man is accused of boarding a boat in Mystic, revving the engine and hitting the dock and another boat while 'heavily intoxicated.'
MYSTIC, CT—A reported very intoxicated man boarded a boat docked at Seaport Marine Friday night and "pushed the throttle to full," with the craft smashing into a nearby boat and the dock, The Day reported.
Police said they with assistance from boaters "shut down the engine after several minutes and before the boat broke free of its lines," it was reported.
John Kehoe, 25, of 1 Crystal Lake Road, Groton, was charged by Stonington Police with first-degree burglary, first-degree reckless boating, operating a vessel under the influence, breach of peace, and second- and third-degree criminal mischief, it was reported.

Kehoe was held on a $10,000 bond and it's reported he'll be in New London Superior Court today, though his name does not yet show up on online court docket records.
