Thank You: Families, Students, Staff and Community
The West Vine-West Broad Street Schools' PTO hosted its annual fall fundraiser on Friday, September 27.
The WVSS-WBSS Walk-A-Thon was held in the morning at West Vine. All of our students did a fantastic job completing four laps around the West Vine campus, earning bracelets along the way. Thank you to all the families who contributed funds towards the walk, and thank you to all the students who enthusiastically participated!
Later in the evening, we had a successful Pasta Dinner at the Westerly Elks. Thank you to all our families and community members who attended and participated in the fundraiser.
In total we raised about $4,200 to support our schools this year. We couldn’t have done this event without the help of our fantastic teachers and Mrs. Alicia Dawe, principal, and parents who volunteered at the event. Thank you all!
Lastly, events like this take a small army of volunteers who worked well before that night to plan and organize the event, gather supplies and solicit donations. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
