Excellent Instructor Gets Kids Active Afterschool
You don’t need to be the next Karate Kid to learn the principle tenets Karate teaches: self-discipline, self-respect, and self-control. The COMO offers one of the most affordable karate classes in the area, with no annual contract. Sensei Scott Rathburn holds a 5th degree Black Belt, and will help your child learn karate in a safe and encouraging environment.
Try karate for a month, or take it year-round! The COMO offers four different class options:
Dragons & Ninjas for our littlest karate learners ages 4 – 6 ½;

The Stonington Community Center, Inc. (COMO) has been dedicated to strengthening families and community since 1945. Over the years the COMO campus has grown to include its own classrooms, paddle tennis courts, Thrift Shop, tennis courts, art and pottery studio, annex, and soccer fields.
