Results Of Stonington Budget Referendum Are In

Stonington voters have weighed in on the city's budget proposal.

STONINGTON, CT - The city's budget proposal was overwhelmingly passed by voters, according to The Westerly Sun. A small percentage of voters showed up and passed the proposal 878-328.

The budget includes a 4.84 percent, $3.4 million over last year, pushing the property tax rate up 3 percent.
