School Bus Crash Reported Near North Stonington Elementary School

A vehicle struck the bus head on. No injuries were reported, but six students were hospitalized as a precaution.

NORTH STONINGTON, CT — Thirty children were on a bus that crashed near North Stonington Elementary School on Monday morning, WTNH News-8 reported.

The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Route 2 when a vehicle making a turn at a traffic light hit the bus head on. There were 30 children and a driver on the bus. No injuries were reported.

Six students were transported to a local hospital to be checked as a precaution, WTNH News-8 reported.
