Linda Camello and Terry Grimes in the office reported no issues at any of the town’s five polling locations but said some people were expressing displeasure over the selectmen election process.

According to the town charter voters, vote for a first selectman candidate and a selectman candidate. The board of selectmen is then composed of the winner of the first selectmen race and the two highest voter getters from the two-selectmen candidates and the loser of the first selectman race.

Camello said some voters had expressed confusion of the ballot and had wanted to be able to vote for both selectmen candidates, incumbents (D) and (R).
