Snowy Owl Spotted in Westerly
Not too far from Mystic, at Napatree Point Conservation, a snowy owl was spotted!

A snowy owl was spotted at Napatree Point today! These beautiful birds are visitors from the north and hunt mostly by day. When viewing be sure to leave plenty of space as to not spook the bird.
As a bird of prey they need to be able to stalk prey and not expend energy escaping curious viewers. Binoculars, cameras and spotting scopes are great to use. Thanks and enjoy the beach!
