St. Michael's 1st-Graders Make Donation to Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center
When class member Zoe Ferrouillet proposed the idea, the rest of her classmates sprang into action.

The first-grade class at St. Michael's School in Pawcatuck made a large donation of foodstuffs to the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center on Friday.
First-grader Zoe Ferrouillet came up with the idea as a service project to help the PNC, and proposed it to her teacher, Paula Hurlburt. The effort became a schoolwide project, and representatives from the first-grade class (Mackenzie Holcomb, Clint Cramer, and Zoe Ferrouillet) presented the donations to the PNC's food pantry on Friday.
Great job, kids!
