Stonington Among Country's Leading Airbnb Destinations

STONINGTON, CT — Stonington is one of the summer's top Airbnb destinations in the country, according to Travel + Leisure. Airbnb says it's already helped people book trips in more than 72,000 towns and cities across the world this summer.

Long-term bookings for Airbnb's are at an all-time high, with quarter one 2022 bookings more than double the same time period for 2019.

Stonington was among the leading destinations for a beach getaway this summer along with Walton County, Florida; Cape San Blas, Florida; Mexico Beach, Florida; Fort Myers, Florida; Cape Coral, Florida; Forks, Washington; Big Sur, California; Four Corners, Florida; and Hampton Bays, New York.
