A state court is considering whether the license of a local attorney should be suspended, according to reports.
STONINGTON, CT — A state court is weighing whether to suspend the license of a Pawcatuck attorney accused of misusing $141,000 of his client's funds, according to The Day of New London.
The allegations filed in the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel last month are against Raymond Trebisacci, owner of Trebisacci Law Associates LLC of Pawcatuck.
Trebisacci was supposed to pay off a client's mortgage. However, he told the client that the funds were "lost" and later said he had used the money "to pay other people," according to Hearst Connecticut Media.
