Stonington Commission Unanimously Approves Stone Acres Farm Plan

STONINGTON, CT - The master plan for the Stone Acres Farm project was unanimously approved this week, as reported by the New London Day.

The plan was approved unanimously by Planning and Zoning Commission members during a meeting Tuesday, according to the New London Day. Nearly 100 residents turned out that night to the Mystic Middle School cafeteria where the meeting was held, mostly in support.

Stone Acres has already obtained approval to create a new Agricultural Heritage District from the commission, the New London Day reported. Stone Acres must now obtain approval for its detailed site plan through another public hearing at a later date.
