Stonington Crash Injures Woman and 4-Year Old Girl

A woman and a 4-year old girl were injured in a crash after hitting a pole.

STONINGTON, CT – A woman and a 4-year old girl were injured in a crash after their car struck a utility pole, The Day reported.

The crash occurred in Pawcatuck on Liberty Street close to 3 p.m., according to The Day. Blair GIlman, 31, was trapped inside the damaged car and had to be extracted by firefighters.

Police described the girl’s injuries as minor, while Gilman’s were considered non-life threatening, The Day reported. The front of the car sustained heavy damage.
