Stonington, East Lyme Cops Search For Suspected Theater Thieves
Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding the suspects.

STONINGTON, CT — Authorities in Stonington and East Lyme are asking for the public's help in finding four people - two men and two women - suspected of stealing wallets from purses at movie theaters in both communities, according to media reports.
The thefts occurred on Sept. 16 and 18, and in both instances victims had left their purses either on the floor or otherwise unattended, writes NBC Connecticut. Debit/credit cards from the victims were used soon after the thefts.
One of the suspects is described as a heavyset woman with wrist and forearm tattoos and red hair, according to WTNH-TV. She may also be left-handed.

The suspects could be a blue Nissan Quest, likely from the model years 2004-2009.
Anyone with any information on the suspects or incidents is urged to contact either the Stonington (860-599-4411) or East Lyme (860-739-5900) police departments.
