Stonington High Custodian Charged with Stealing Refrigerator

A custodian for Stonington High School is suspected of stealing a fridge from the school.

STONINGTON, CT – A custodian for Stonington High School was charged with stealing a refrigerator last week, The Day reported.

Edward Kosztala, 60, was charged Oct. 7 with larceny, according to The Day. Police said he is suspected of stealing a dorm-sized refrigerator from the school for his own personal use.

School officials had contacted police originally to report the missing fridge, The Day reported. Kosztala later returned the fridge to the school, though his employment status with the school is not currently known.
