Stonington Highway Employee Pleads Not Guilty to On-the-Job Assault Charges
His case has been continued after facing charges for fighting with a landscaper while on the job.

STONINGTON, CT – A Stonington highway employee has pleaded not guilty to charges from June for an on-the-job fight with a landscaper, The Day reported.
Timothy Keena entered his plea in New London Superior Court on Tuesday, according to The Day. He was ordered to have no contact with the landscaper and had his case has been continued to Aug. 31.
On June 23, police said Keena engaged in a fight with landscaper Morgan Dean while working on Prentice Williams Road in Old Mystic, The Day reported. Dean is scheduled to appear in court Friday, while the town has begun a process to decide if Keena should be disciplined or fired.
