Stonington Human Services Sponsors AAA Driving School

The AAA driving school winter session begins in a few days.

Sponsored by Stonington Human Services, the winter session will begin on Jan. 13 and end on or about March 12.

Students enrolling  must be 16 years of age by the start of class. A student does not need a learner’s permit to attend a class.  Class meets at Stonington High School, Room 122 Mondays and Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. A parent/guardian must attend the first 2-hour session. 

AAA’s Full Driver Education Program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction (fifteen 2-hour classes) plus 8 hours of individual behind the wheel instruction (four 2-hour lessons) in one of our specially equipped training vehicles.

Students completing the program receive a free one year AAA membership if a parent or guardian is already a member.  AAA Member Price:  $595; Non-Memer Price:  $650.  Classroom Instruction Only:  $250.
