Stonington Industrial Accident Results in Serious Hand Injury
The victim was reportedly suffering from a partial finger amputation.

STONINGTON, CT – Following an industrial accident Tuesday, a Davis-Standard employee was taken to the hospital following a serious hand injury, the Westerly Sun reported.
Emergency responders responded after receiving reports of a man’s hand being caught in a machine, according to the Westerly Sun. The man was reportedly suffering from a partial finger amputation.
The injures were determined to be non-life threatening, the Westerly Sun reported. The company’s nursing staff and fellow employees helped wrap the victim's fingers before emergency responders arrived.
