Stonington Library Restores Cut Hours: Report
The library was able to restore its previously cut Friday hours thanks to contributions from residents and businesses.
STONINGTON, CT — Thanks to recent contributions from residents and businesses, the Stonington Free Library announced Wednesday that its Friday hours have been restored, the New London Day reported. The library had cut its Friday hours last month due to budgetary issues.
According to the Day, the library will no longer close Fridays at 1 p.m. and will instead remain open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 1, 2019. Library officials expressed deep appreciation for the generous contributions made to keep the original hours intact.
