Stonington Man Charged In DUI Crash
A local man is facing charges after his vehicle struck a utility pole head-on.
STONINGTON, CT - A local man is facing charges after he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole on Taugwonk Road Friday, according to The Westerly Sun. Jeffrey Balch, 42, of 15 Wheeler Brook Park, was charged with driving under the influence, failure to drive right, and driving with a suspended license.
The wreck caused the pole to fall and the road to be closed. Balch did not suffer any serious injuries.
