Stonington, North Stonington High Schools Land On U.S. News 2024 List
Public high schools in Stonington and North Stonington were ranked by U.S. News & World Report as among the top 100 in the state.
STONINGTON, CT — Two local high schools are ranked among the top 100 in the state, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Stonington High School was ranked No. 44 in the state. Wheeler High School in North Stonington landed at 36.
The rankings come from 2024 Best High Schools list published Tuesday from U.S. News & World Report.

Connecticut public high schools ranked second in the nation, with just under 43 percent of its schools in the top 25 percent.
The rankings also include the best magnet, charter and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) schools.
