A building long familiar to local residents as a beloved auto body shop in the Mago Point section of Waterford has been thoughtfully reintroduced as Gather 360, a boutique gathering space designed for smaller, memorable celebrations. The venue is especially suited for bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, micro-weddings, and other intimate gatherings. Rather than a traditional banquet hall, the setting feels relaxed and welcoming, allowing guests to open the three-bay garage doors and move comfortably between indoor gathering rooms and the surrounding outdoor areas. Natural textures, warm wood tones, and lush garden spaces create an atmosphere that feels tucked away, encouraging conversation and connection rather than formality. Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. STONINGTON, CT – Three police detectives with nearly a century of experience <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160911/retirements-mean-change-in-stonington-detective-division" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">have retired as of the end of August</a>, The Day reported.  Due to the retirement of a few key long-time members, the Stonington Police Department will see <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160911/retirements-mean-change-in-stonington-detective-division" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">changes in terms of new perspectives and energy</a>, according to The Day. Many of the new officers coming in have even worked with the retiring officers to some extent.  Retirees included John Fiore in November after 37 years, Cody Floyd this spring after 27 years and Detective Sgt. David Knowles <a href="http://www.theday.com/local/20160911/retirements-mean-change-in-stonington-detective-division" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">at the end of August after 31 years</a>, The Day reported.
