Stonington Police Investigate Multiple Stolen Car Incidents
Police are investigating following a rash of stolen cars in Connecticut and Rhode Island last night.
STONINGTON, CT - Local police along with several other town's police departments are investigating multiple incidents of stolen cars Monday night into Tuesday morning. Fox 61reported that police received a call at 1:45 a.m. from a Barnes Road resident, which ended with police chasing a car thief who eluded officers before crashing into a stone wall.
At 2:20 a.m., police received a call from a Farmholme Road resident, reporting that their car was stolen. The spot was near where the first car crashed.
Cars were also reported stolen in Groton, Croton and Westerly, R.I. Read the full story at Fox 61.
