Stonington Police Issue Over 50 Seat Belt Citations: Report

STONINGTON, CT — Stonington police said officers issued over 50 citations as part of the Click It or Ticket seat belt campaign, the Westerly Sun reported.

According to the Westerly Sun, officers issued 59 citations for seat belt violations during the two-week campaign. Police said 20 of these citations were generated at checkpoints, and eight other citations were also issued, mainly for distracted driving.
