Stonington Police To Participate In 'Click It Or Ticket' Campaign
The department is emphasizing safe driving practices heading into Memorial Day weekend.
STONINGTON, CT — Stonington police released a statement that the department will be promoting safe driving with the Memorial Day holiday approaching. Officers are out on the roads enforcing the State Occupant Protection laws and issuing citations to anyone unbuckled.
The statewide "Click or Ticket" WAVE Campaign runs from Monday to June 5.
Police said in a Facebook post that the campaign will include checkpoints and increased enforcement day and night.
