STONINGTON, CT — The Stonington Police Department will be extending the No Shave November concept through the first two months of 2023. Officer Peter Sieczkiewicz and Sergeant Theresa Hersh contacted Leanne Theodore, the director of Stonington Human Services, and found that the town's funding for energy assistance has been lacking this year and with the colder months approaching, the department felt that this fundraising would be beneficial to the members of the Stonington Community.

To participate in Stonington Police Department’s Warm Places Thanks to Warm Faces, each Stonington Police Officer would make an individual donation to the Energy Assistance Program for the Town of Stonington. Energy assistance is an ongoing basic need for all communities, especially during these critical financial times.

Anyone wishing to support the department’s event and ultimately the town’s energy assistance program please use the Stonington Human Services link Warm Places Thanks to Warm Faces .
