Superintendent Search Underway

The search for a new superintendent of schools is well underway. An important part of the process is to solicit school and community input about the attributes, experiences, and desired goals for a new superintendent. This will be of valuable assistance to the Board of Education as they consider candidates.

Dr. Elizabeth Osga, a consultant with the New England School Development Council (NESDEC), will meet with interested school and community members in virtual focus groups conducted via internet video conference. A schedule of opportunities to participate is currently being developed and will be announced shortly. The dates for focus group participation are January 12th and January 19th.

In addition to the focus groups, an electronic survey will be available to school and community members. The survey will be open later this month. Information about survey participation will be forthcoming in the next two weeks.
