Stonington SAT Scores Rank Above Other Eastern CT Districts

Recent SAT results revealed a mixed bag for Groton and Norwich and disappointing findings for New London among other things, The Day reported.

Two-thirds of Groton 11th graders performed at or above the state standard in language arts, while only one-third met or exceeded the same standard in math, according to The Day. For Eastern Conn., Groton ranked below Colchester, East Lyme, Ledyard, Montville, Stonington and Waterford.

Disappointingly for New London, only 34.7 and 22.4 percent met or exceeded in language arts and math respectively, according to The Day. Norwich also saw a mixed results, with a relatively positive 62.3 percent meeting or exceeding state goal and relatively low 33.6 percent for math.
