Stonington Schools Cut Positions, Ban Cell Phones For Students: Report

The Stonington Board of Education approved a plan to cut nine positions and a new policy to ban cell phones for middle school students.

STONINGTON, CT — The Stonington Board of Education approved cutting nine positions after the Board of Finance reduced the schools' budget by $500,000, The Day of New London reported.

Also, the Board of Education has approved a new policy banning cell phones for middle school students next year.
