After refusing to stop for officers, a local teen led police on a chase.

STONINGTON, CT – Police said they chased down and charged a teenager with driving under the influence after he refused to stop for officers Saturday night, according to The Day.

Officers allegedly attempted to stop Lincoln Robinson, 19, close to 10 p.m. for driving in excess of 70 mph on Elmridge Road, according to The Day. Police said Robinson then sped up, passed a vehicle in a no-passing zone and ran a red light.

Police stopped pursuing Robinson and instead went to the address of the vehicle owner, where Robinson later pulled into, according to The Day. He was arrested after taking field sobriety tests.
