Stonington Woman Charged With Intoxicated Driving Twice in 15 Hours: Report
Police said the woman had at one point been driving with no brakes and with the front hood of her car up.

STONINGTON, CT- A local woman was charged with intoxicated driving this weekend twice within 15 hours, as reported by The Day.
Candace White, 30, had been charged first on Saturday night close to 10 p.m. for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol that resulted in her rear-ending another vehicle, according to The Day. Police said she was driving without working brakes, using the parking brake to stop the car, and was arrested and released on bond with a court date of July 11.
White was later found close to 2:40 p.m. on Sunday to have been the suspected driver of a car that struck a fence and had been driving with the front hood the car up, The Day reported. Police found White exhibiting signs of being intoxicated, and she was again charged with driving under the influence in addition to being given a Tuesday court date.
