Stonington's Horses Healing Humans Ribbon Cutting Scheduled

A horse-assisted therapy facility will open its expanded doors in Stonington Sept. 15.

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Eastern CT Chamber of Commerce, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Horses Healing Humans, located at 340 New London Turnpike (Route 184) at 5:30 p.m.

The event will herald the opening of the expanded Therapeutic Spaces and Administrative Offices.

There will be refreshments, carriage rides and open barn tours. If attending, people are urged to wear closed-toe shoes and to leave pets at home.
