Suspect Arrested In Mystic Mobil Robbery
Police said the suspect in a robbery that occurred at Mystic Mobil has been arrested.

STONINGTON, CT - Stonington police said the suspect in a robbery that occurred Wednesday at Mystic Mobil on Whitehall Avenue has been arrested. The arrest was made hours after the robbery was reported, according to police.
Police said the clerk at Mystic Mobil initially reported the suspect had entered the store, implied he had a gun and took cash from the register. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, according to a release. Upon further investigation, police were able to develop a suspect and began checking the area.

Police said Joseph Michael Bailey, 45, was soon after stopped in front of his home on South Broad Street in Pawcatuck and subsequently taken into custody.
Police said the suspect was charged with robbery and larceny, as well as operating under suspension. He is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
