Testing Could Impact Water Service For Some Stonington Residents, Town Says

STONINGTON, CT — The Town of Stonington is warning residents about fire flow testing that could impact water service for some Tuesday morning.

The town posted the following on Facebook:

This morning Aquarion Water will conduct fire flow testing which will impact a number of Aquarion Water customers in Mystic. The areas impacted will primarily be neighborhoods off of Route 27 south of I-95. During and after this fire flow test some customers may experience low pressure, no water and/or discolored water. Customers may want to use stored water for drinking or cooking and delay clothes washing until water runs clear. Run your cold water faucet until water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes.
