This Weekend: Wine Tasting Benefit, "The Deadly Deception" Lecture

The weekend is in sight! Finally, right? But hey, that doesn’t mean you can run wild yet. We know you’re totally excited to skip out of the office and start your weekend—but before you do, take a look at what’s going over the next few days! After all, you’ve got to make the most of your time off the clock! Here’s what’s going on this weekend:

WHERE/WHEN: Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Groton Public Library.

WHY GO: Waterford life coach and Roadmap to Success author Marcus Milukas will stop by the library for an empowering Thursday evening lecture.

PRICING: Free and open to the public.

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Garde Arts Center.

WHY GO: Pre-concert lecture begins at 7 p.m.

PRICING: Tickets start at $27.

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mohegan Sun.

WHY GO: Don’t miss the Dancing with the Stars champs! Performance is at 1 p.m. and signing at 2 p.m.

PRICING: Free.

WHERE/WHEN: Sunday at 2 p.m. at Leamy Hall on Mohegan Avenue in New London.

WHY GO: Movie tunes? Free concert? You should probably go.

PRICING: Concert is free.

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday at 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., respectively, at the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.

WHY GO: Winter is on at the museum! Don’t miss this Saturday’s weather-appropriate activities.

PRICING: Events are free with museum admission.

: Show is on Friday at 8 p.m. at the Fox Theater. Tickets start at $30.

: Bring the family! Hike is Saturday at 1 p.m. in Gales Ferry.

: Show will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Harbor Towers Ballroom on Bank Street in New London. A donation of $5 is suggested for donation and supports the city’s music education efforts.

: All are welcome! Movie starts at 6 p.m. at the Groton Public Library.
