Town Employee Charged with Assaulting Landscaper Promoted in Stonington
A Stonington town employee charged with assaulting a landscaper last year has been promoted.

STONINGTON, CT - The town has promoted an employee who was arrested last year, the New London Day reported. His new job will earn him a raise of almost $7,000 a year.
Timothy Keena was named highway foreman Monday after serving in the position on an interim basis since January, the New London Day reported. The position is the department’s third highest post. (To sign up for Stonington/Mystic breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Keena was previously charged in connection to an assault incident in June 2016, according to the New London Day. He was arrested for allegedly assaulting a landscaper while on the job.
