Town Of Stonington: Board Of Finance - Public Hearing To Held On September 15

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Finance of the Town of Stonington will hold a Public Hearing at the Stonington School’s District Office Board Room, located at 40 Field Street, Pawcatuck, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.for the following purpose:

To present the itemized estimated budget of expenditures of the Town’s planned American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) distribution, and use of the federal grant funds, received by the Town, and to hear the citizens of the Town in regard to any appropriation which they are desirous that the Board recommend or reject. A copy of the ARPA grant budget, as recommended by the Board of Selectmen, is available for review in the office of the Town Clerk and online at www.stonington-ct.gov. At this hearing, interested persons may appear and be heard and written communications will be received. If unable to attend, please forward written communications to James Sullivan, Director of Finance, 152 Elm Street, Stonington, CT 06378) by September 14, 2021. A Board of Finance Special Meeting will be held immediately following the Public Hearing to deliberate and consider the public’s comments and input, and to finalize the setting of the ARPA grant budget for Town Meeting. A summary of that recommended budget is as follows:

TOTAL ARPA GRANT BUDGET $ 5,230,927
