Update: I-95 Open in North Stonington Following Crash

Update: The highway has been re-opened.

Update 11:20 a.m.: I-95 southbound re-opened, but northbound is still closed. There is congestion on the northbound side between exits 90 and 93, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The driver was transported to a local hospital.

Update: Both directions of I-95 are now closed. northbound is closed between exits 92 and 93 and southbound is closed between 93 and 92.

Original story: I-95 northbound near exit 92 is closed in North Stonington due to a tractor trailer that went off the road and caught on fire.

The incident was reported by State Police shortly after 10 a.m.
