My name is Christopher Annino aka Rescue 911 aka The Killer Bee I was born and raised in Mystic Connecticut. I have traveled around the world and done many great things however for me I need to tell you my story in order for you to understand who I am and what I deal with. Growing up local people didn't like me because I was different. And they still don't like me so not much has changed in regards to their mindset.

This is a very hard column for me to write because its a reflection on myself and I am going to be open about personal things that I don't share. I hope this can be therapeutic for people and myself. My name is Christopher Annino and I suffer from many disabilities including the condition known as Asperger's and I was told at a young age that I would not be able to live a normal life. That's a hard pill to swallow at the age of nine when they basically tell you that you wont amount to anything because of a handicap. People hear these words and they automatically have sympathy or regardless they just react so when people found out what I had they treated me different. My family like my Uncle Joe and Aunt Karen always supported me and I am very fortunate to have them in my life as well as my parents. It was very difficult growing up kids can be mean especially when they tell you "no one likes you Chris maybe you should not be here anymore." It doesn't help when you hear that and it doesn't help that they don't understand you either. Its worse when adults talk down to you. You almost have to question why an adult would pick on a child with a disability? Is fear or does it boost ones confidence? "Always consider the source" is another quote I would go by and it helps trust me. In middle school the doctors treated me like a lab rat and kept prescribing me pills until one day I was able to move due to these powerful medication that they had me on. The medicine they prescribed just made things worse. Family and few friends I had meant a lot and got me through the bad times. Fast forward to a couple of decades later I am winning championships for athletics , graduate with honors from Mitchell College and winning awards for the films I direct. So many good things have happened but one thing that I learned through this process and that is always be aware of the people you choose to surround yourself with. Make sure they are positive and have your best interest.

The process and evolution of my success even though recent has been hard but as a result I am a better person and stronger than I ever was. Before I react I think "don't react just act" this has saved me from many issues that I have had in the past. There is quote that I would like to focus on "walk a mile in someones shoes" I know I myself have judged people and not been kind. I now reflect that what I have been doing is the very thing many have been doing to me. That is being quick to judge and not adjusting to my surroundings. I lost a lot of friends and family after my divorce and it was because I was becoming the disability i was becoming anti social and the hardest pill I had to swallow was its how I respond to the situation. Despite my success in athletics and film I had to come to a realization that people try every day their best and sometimes it may not be seen as good enough but they are trying none the less. There is not guarantee that life is going to give you anything there is a better chance if you work on yourself that you will be a success. Success though is a very discouraging word because it has no meaning you can be a success and not happy ultimately if you instead pursue happiness you become a success.

I was recently diagnosed with PTSD and it has given me almost a second chance to view people in life there are things that bother me and how I deal with them is by choosing not to engage and that is the only way I know how to conquer this recent diagnosis. Too many people see this and any other diagnosis as negative and I am aware of what they say. It use to bother me a great deal actually. I now "consider the source" always helps to realize that the individual that is judging is probably ignorant toward their actions.

I had a lot I had to deal with and continue to deal with from a day to day basis. Aside from my disabilities I have many people that choose not to like me. I use to get upset about that and then I found positive people in my life that had my best interest. I am not saying I was never at fault however when people become toxic in your life you have to move away. And by saying this I had to realize that maybe I was becoming toxic. I have a third chance at life again and it means a lot that I can teach film to people. There are going to be people that I interacted with that will speak negative of me. And what I have to say to those people is "if you turn a negative into a negative it will never become positive and we come in and out of each others life for a reason, and that is to become gain knowledge. With knowledge comes wisdom and that is the second most powerful entity on this planet the first being love. "My purpose and goal is to teach and also learn Ben Franklin and Socrates are my inspiration for what I have become I learned about both going to S.B. Butler, Cutler, and Fitch High School. They were brilliant because they had wisdom and kept and open mind. I hope I can help by informing how its unfair to typecast people and put them in roles. And as my goal as a international award winning film maker is to capture humanity " don't work with actors I work with people" is my motto and I don't judge anyone I work with. This has been my success and as a result I have been accepted and won the following film festivals : Mindfield Film Festival • Albuquerque, Royal Wolf Film Awards, Pinnacle Film Awards, Oniros Film Festival, West Coast International Film Festival, and Bermuda International Festival. I am so happy to also announce that I get to work with great people who were my heroes growing up like ECW wrestler Angel Orsini, WWE Legend Killer Bee Brian Blair, WWE Legend Tito Santana, WWE Legend Greg The Hammer Valentine, Producer/ Host Evan Ginzburg, WWE/ ECW Bill Pierce, Joe Nemchek, Alexxis Steele, NPC champion Nikki Mocccia, The Queen of the Paranormal Kadrolsha Ona Carole. I am going to be working with Natalia Markova aka the Russian crush, Olga Kurkulina aka Mother Russia Kick Ass 2, Jeanne Basone aka Hollywood GLOW, and Rusty Gilligan. To me being around these great people helps get rid of my depression and makes life more enjoyable. And having people like Mike Messier and Biju Viswanath helping me to become a better film maker is truly the ultimate gift I only hope to repay what they have given me.

I am planning on doing two projects now one is a version of Cinderella where the lead both in the story and in real life is trans. that I am in negotiations with Janelle Fennec to play the lead. Janelle stars in my documentary Trans Rights are Human Rights inspired by Caroline Cossey and as I got to know her I was amazed with how truly amazing she is as a person. This inspired my mission which is to give people the opportunities that I was denied because they were either too ignorant or jealous.

And the other is a short I am co directing with Angel Orsini the film is about dealing with addiction and how its more the people around the individual that can be the real issue. This short is inspired by actual events. The film will star Olga Kurkulina, Natalia Markova and Tony Prevosti.

I am going to air part of my feature film Silent Times which was filmed here on SEC TV http://www.sec-tv.org/about with special guest Senator Heather Somers and "Scrubs" star Jennifer Anderson. We are doing this for two reasons to show how these great people Frank Facchini and Frank Fulchiero were able to teach someone like me how to be a good filmmaker. I owe them everything. The other thing we want to do is help a great woman who going through a hard time Julie Nicolay
