Viking Longship To Open For Public Tours, Remain Docked At Mystic Seaport
The replica Viking longship Draken Harald Hårfagre and its crew will remain docked at Mystic Seaport and soon be open for public tours.

MYSTIC, CT - Officials announced Wednesday the replica Viking longship Draken Harald Hårfagre and its crew will remain docked at Mystic Seaport until next spring, the New London Day reported. The ship will also be open for public tours starting this month.
The longship will be open for tours beginning June 30, according to the New London Day. The ship was only previously open to the public for five days last October. (To sign up for Stonington/Mystic breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
The longship previously crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 2016 with a 32-member crew, the New London Day reported. The voyage was meant to recreate the first transatlantic crossing and Viking discovery of North America more than 1,000 years ago.
