WATCH: Coyote Visits Church Street on Stonington Side

A video was taken of the coyote on Sunday, Nov. 1.

A woman was driving along Church Street on the Stonington side over the weekend when her dog began growling.

The cause? A coyote was standing near the road and looking around, before he seemingly left the area.

The Mystic Pet Shop shared the video, taken by Heather Picazio, via Facebook and gave this advice to pet owners. Scroll down to view the video.

“The rule of thumb is to avoid,” the Mystic Pet Shop posted. “Please keep your cats indoors. And watch dogs under 25 lbs., outside alone. Good Morning. Information is power. We can all live in peace together. However we do not need the wildlife to be any more bold.”

Facebook fans chimed in with other sightings of the coyote.
