WATCH: Harbor Seal Pup Release by Mystic Aquarium Team

These videos just never get old! Mystic Aquarium’s Animal Rescue Team conducted its first seal release of the year. Bootes, an approximately 8-month-old harbor seal pup, was released at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown, R.I. this week.

“Bootes was rescued in York, Maine, back in November by Marine Mammals of Maine,” Mystic Aquarium wrote on its Facebook page.

The Animal Rescue team worked with Bootes for months, providing specialized care so she could be released safely into the wild.
