Water Main Break In Westerly Affects Pawcatuck Residents

STONINGTON, CT — A water main break in the area of White Rock Road in Westerly on Tuesday impacted some Westerly Water customers in Pawcatuck, according to police.

Stonington officials were in contact with representatives from the Westerly Water Department who said that the break was isolated.

Any residual effects such as low water pressure were expected to slowly resolve for customers in Pawcatuck on Tuesday.

"At this time Westerly Water Department officials indicate that there are no current concerns related to water quality," police wrote in a Facebook post. "If there are any significant changes for the ability of workers to repair the break or maintain proper pressure for Pawcatuck residents then additional updates will be provided when appropriate."
