Why do boats float? Explore the history of different types of boats, their uses, shapes and sizes. Use recycled materials to create model boats and examine the physics of how they float, hold cargo, and stay upright in vicious storms. Take it to the next level and design a sail to harness the ferocious winds of a household box fan!
