Woman Charged with DUI After Resident Leads Her to Police in Stonington
Police said a Groton woman was charged with DUI after a concerned Stonington resident noticed her driving erratically.

STONINGTON, CT - Police said a woman was charged with driving under the influence after a concerned resident noticed her driving erratically, the Westerly Sun reported. He then allegedly led the suspect to police.
Officers were investigating the site of an unrelated accident when a man pulled up and told police he had seen a woman driving all over the road, according to the Westerly Sun. Officers shortly after witnessed the car in question drive past the scene of the accident and cross completely over the center line, the Westerly Sun reported. Police quickly located and later arrested Pia Vestergaard Perry, 51, of Groton, who was charged with driving under the influence.
