Woman Falsely Reported Home Invasion: Stonington Police

STONINGTON, CT - Stonington police said officers recently determined an alleged home invasion to have been falsely reported by a woman, the New London Day reported. The incident was reported Tuesday morning at a residence on Hewitt Road, police said.

Police said detectives determined Thursday the alleged victim's entire report was false, according to the New London Day. The woman has not been identified by police.
