Yacht Captain Found Guilty in Fatal Boat Crash that Killed Stonington Man: Report
Police said a yacht captain has been found guilty in connection with a fatal boat crash.

CRANSTON, RI - Police said a yacht captain has been found guilty in a crash that killed a Stonington man, the Westerly Sun reported.
Cooper Bacon, a 76-year old New Jersey captain of a 60-foot yacht, has been found guilty in connection with a fatal boat crash, according to the Westerly Sun. The incident occurred off the coast of Rhode Island in September 2015.
The victim, 81-year old Stonington resident Walter Krupinski, was a commercial rod and reel fisherman, the Westerly Sun reported. He was fishing off Watch Hill Reef and had decided to head home for the day when the collision occurred.
