Zoning Changes Near Foxwoods Could Be Boon To North Stonington

The town is considering changing zoning laws near the border of the Foxwoods casino.

NORTH STONINGTON, CT — A proposed change to zoning regulations could allow for large development near the town's border to the Foxwoods Resort Casino.
The area is currently geared toward residential zoning, according to The Day.
More development in the area could increase the town's tax base. Developers in the area could also connect to water and sewer lines that also help service tribal land.
