UConn Fire Department leaders say the state-approved program already delivers Advanced Life Support on many calls and they're pushing toward 24/7 paramedic staffing at the Storrs station to better protect students, faculty and staff.
   

• 22-year-old UConn student-athlete dies after Mansfield crash: State police (fox61.com) — A UConn student-athlete has died following a serious crash near Hunting Lodge Road in Mansfield, affecting many on the nearby Storrs campus. The university is offering mental health support and inviting condolences for his family to be sent through the Dean of Students' Office in Storrs as the community grieves this sudden loss.
