1 Killed In Crash: Stratford Police

The crash occurred just after midnight on Friday in Stratford, according to police.

STRATFORD, CT — One person was killed in a one-car crash on Lordship Boulevard near Access Road just after midnight on Friday, according to Stratford Police.

Capt. Frank Eannotti said initial investigation “indicates that the involved vehicle which was driving west bound on Lordship Boulevard failed to negotiate a slight curve in the roadway, drove off the road and struck a tree near the intersection.”

There was one fatality as a result of the crash, Eannotti said. The roadway and intersection was closed during the on-scene investigation.

The victim’s identity is not being released at this time, pending family notification, according to Eannotti.

The accident remains under investigation.
