$30,000 Winning Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Stratford

A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket she purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Monday, Yvonne L. claimed a winning "30X Cash 10th Edition" ticket she bought at Neighborhood Smoke & Convenience on Westchester Drive.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $30 per ticket, began in February, and as of Wednesday, 93 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 1 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53.
